Stevie Rocked Cincinnati

12,000 in attendance. Wednesday July 11, 2001

The weather was perfect for a concert....couldn't have asked for better weather than tonight in July in Cincy...low humidity, sunshine, and blue skies!

Stevie looked absolutely radiant and happy to be there. She is in great form and shape. Her voice is spectacular! The high registers for the most part are gone but she more than makes up for it with her strong and steady delivery. No vapors here!

Ms. Nicks took her audience on a musical odyssey performing Mac classics, solo standards, and new songs from Trouble In Shangri-La. She was backed by a tight seven piece band, her two songbirds Sharon Celani and Mindy Stein, and her confidant and musical collaborator, Sheryl Crow.

Waddy Wachtel...I'm so glad he's back with Stevie...so electric. "Edge Of Seventeen" was just out of this world. The highlight of the night for me. It was flawless. Definitely the crowd favorite of the night. Destiny's Child...this is how it's supposed to be done!! I have never seen her cover this song like she did tonight..it just floored me!

Stevie Nicks is timeless..as is her music! WOW! This was the best performance I have ever seen of her solo concerts. This gal has got it together. I don't think you'll see any WILD SPRINTS of yesterday ala Rhiannon or Stand Back but she paces herself to be "The Long Distance Winner"...and she is!!

Stevie, you are THE poet, priestess of "nothing"?, and without A DOUBT, a LEGEND!!
