5 BEING THE BEST

One of the best concerts I was ever at they opened
with The Chain which I thought would have been the the last song but they put
that much effort into the whole concert they might not have been able to
perform it right, The Point in Dublin holds 8,000 the sound was brilliant.
If you like Fleewood Mac, go!

Hi there fans,
Went to the gig on Thursday night. Was amazing. First time I've seen them live. Was really impressed by Lindsey and Stevie. He is such a great guitarist, so unique. As for Stevie, what a powerful voice. She was a little flat at first (only on really low notes), she also did not attempt really high notes which was surprising as I thought she would make them easily.
Mick Fleetwood was great. The camera zoomed in alot on his face where he gave that evil dirty look ! Mad eyes !
Go see them if you can !

The show was excellent right from the start, the new songs were good as well. Landslide and Beautiful Child were particular highlights. I saw the Rolling Stones in September, The Mac were far better, simply the best rock show I've ever seen. Stevie Nicks was sensational and Buckingham's guitar playing was unbelievable.

Just been reading the reviews of the first night in Dublin on the message board. I've been to both nights and I'm just home from Thursday's gig. Wednesday was everything everyone else has said here but believe me Thursday was even better. Some minor gripes about the first gig. I thought Second Hand News was a bit weak with a poor enough sound and I couldn't hear Stevies vocals on Say You Will or Lindsey's on Say Goodbye. These were all in the first half of the show and the band got better and better as the night went on.
As for tonight, all I can say is it was a faultless show. My personal highlights, any song sung by Stevie Nicks closely followed by the most energetic exhibition of guitar playing I have ever seen from Lindsey, an amazing contrast. After "Come" he looked totally spent he had put so much effort into the solo only to repeat the performance again for "I'm so afraid". The band were fantastic tonight and the atmosphere was better than Wednesday. The set list was identical but the performance was far more polished, if such a thing can be achieved.
Two wonderful nights, thank you Fleetwood Mac !
