5 BEING THE BEST
Rated "5" by Julie Childers
This was the 2nd show that I had seen this year, but this time I was in the 2nd row.
Fleetwood Mac puts on the BEST show ever, as far as I am concerned. I have been a Lindsey Buckingham fan since I was 12, now I'm 35, he is just amazing on the guitar. I could have sat there ALL night and watched him play!
I was fortunate enough to have a nice couple in the front row that knew that I was a Lindsey fanatic( everyone around me did) , pulled me up over the seats when Lindsey came over by us, so I could rub his legs! What a thrill I was able to touch him 3x throughout the show thanks to them, and also even strum his guitar!
That was the BEST night of my life!!!! My husband thought I was crazy, but who cares!!!
I would travel ANYWHERE to see him again!!!
Awesome show!!!!!

WOW! Unbelievable! This is the third show I have seen on the Say You Will tour, and it was by far the best. (Maybe because they knew it was their last show together for a while?)
Anyway, I have never seen our girl Stevie look better, sound better, or seem happier than she was tonight. She spoke more to the audience than she has in past shows...she told a story about Ray Lindsey(Lindsey's guitar tech), who is leaving the band after twenty nine years..She recalled when he picked her up in an orange Datsun truck on Hollywood Blvd. to take her to their very first Fleetwood Mac rehearsal in 1975..Lindsey(who of course was his incredible self the entire show as usual) also dedicated a song to Ray in honor of twenty nine years of service and friendship.
She also thanked her father for being on tour with them for the past 35 shows--pretty good for 79 yrs. old!!
Lindsey also dedicated a song to his niece Cory Buckingham, and mentioned his brother Greg and what a wonderful legacy he left behind in Cory...you could see Cory crying off to the side of the strage during the entire song...it was very touching.
This show had so much more heart and emotion than any of the other shows I've seen them do. I feel so lucky to have been a part of it!!!
The set list was the same as the summer shows, and the only disappointment for me was the expected omission of Silver Springs, my all time favorite song. But the show was so fabulous, it almost didn't matter!! All this being said, I'm sad that the tour is finally ended...keep your fingers crossed that the Mac WILL be back!!
