What a night!!! I just recently was de-virginized by going to my very first Stevie concert in Massachusetts. The venue itself was very interesting being out in the woods and all. The crowd was very much so into the show even before our lady of the evening walked out on stage.
When Stevie did walk out on the stage, the people went crazy. I want you all to know that through the entire show most of the audience never sat down in their seats. The show's set list was great and the songs had a nice transition to the stage. Off the new album I thought the best transitions to stage were from the tracks "Fall From Grace", "Everyday", and "Bombay Sapphires".
I personally thought Stevie could revamp "Planets" and "Sorcerer". Stevie and Sheryl seemed to be having a great time up there and it totally reflected onto what a great time the audience was having. When she ended the show so many people handed her gifts including a lamp. She thanked everyone and ended on one of the most beautiful songs "Has Anyone".
This concert was a night to remember and I am glad I had the opportunity to go. Our rock gypsy showed the Tweeter Center a great time and in return she proved she has survived to be a legend.

I have only one word to describe this night...unforgettable, ok maybe I can describe this night in a few more words to make it even clearer...magical and enchanted!
This was my first Stevie Concert Experience! I am 17 years old...well going to be. But anyways getting to the point, as pretty much everybody knows the setlist, I am not even going to go there. But let me say this, this was the best concert of my life and I will never forget it. At this time, I had met our Webmistress there also! She was the best. I think she enjoyed the concert just as much as I did!
(note from the Webmistress herself: this was BEFORE I passed out...lol)
But at the concert the things that still stick out in my mind was when she was playing "Gold Dust Woman". She sang with so much enthusiasm in her voice. So much power it was amazing. "Stand Back" was just as good when she did a kick at the end of the song. May I add the crowd went wild! So did I, for that matter, lol. She did lot of her new songs that were just as good as her most favored ones, I am not going to say old because they haven't gotten old yet have they? Sorcerer, was just unbelievable. I noticed though she kind of avoided the high notes which is totally understandable. Good Job Stevie! Sheryl Crow was having a blast with Stevie! You could see it in her eyes and facial expressions! They definitly were both in Rock A Little Mode! lol!
At the end of the show, (sad to say) Stevie did her most beautiful song to date, "Has Anyone Ever Written Anything For You". This was absolutly a Show stopper (no pun intended!) It was just magical. I remember this one part of the concert were she sings "poets, preists of nothing ,legends", and I remember looking out into the audience, keep in mind it is pitch black outside and I looked around and saw all theses lights out in the audience, lighters that is but to me they looked like candles, and it was just beautiful. That is a moment I will never forget!
After she ended the song, I just started to cry because I didn't know when I would see her again. And knowing this was the last song just kinda made me more upset but I think this was the best thing that has ever happend to me yet. Thank You Jannie for making it that much more special than it was already!
Rock On Gold Dust Women And Never Stop Rocking!!!!

Hi, everyone. Just got back from the four hour trek to Mass. from the Tweeter Center show. Had seats very close to the stage and we got there early. I could not control my excitement from the time that I heard Stevie and Sheryl warming up together in the parking lot. When we actually entered the show I could not believe how close the seats were that Joe got from his work !!!! What a big time bonus..... For the first time I could actually see what her facial and hand gestures were like from up close. I could not believe how beautiful she was up close. I was very excited when the show was about to begin and Bootylicious came on... The crowd really seemed to enjoy the song. I thought that the band was very tight and played so well together. Sharon and Mindy were both beautiful as always and it seemed to me that Sharon got very thin. They sounded great.
I also thought that Sheryl added a lot more to the show then I had previously expected. She had a lot of her own fans there as well which was pretty interesting. She really puts on a very good show and her and Stevies voices seemed to blend very well. They seemed to be having a ball doing the show together. Of course the true and only real star of the night was Stevie. It was such an amazing experience. The whole set list sounded so awesome. Rhiannon, Stand Back, Planets, Fall From Grace, and Edge were some of my personal favorites... They rocked !!!!! Someone right in front of us actually bought a beautiful lamp for Stevie.... You had to see the look of surprise on Stevies face when she saw it. I could not believe that she brought her a lamp. The one girl near us in the crowd brought the most amazing purple flowers for her... they were stunning. Lots of people in the usual Stevie dresses and shawls.
We also had plenty of amusement while the show was going on as well. There was an extremely intoxicated girl that was standing behind us, she was going absolutely crazy...and that was just for Jeffery Gaines !!!!! She was almost unconscious by the time Stevie came on and was whistling with her fingers like a madman right in the peoples ears in front of her. She then proceeded to remove her shirt during Stop Draggin' and then it was just her and her bra for the rest of the night. She ended up being more of a distraction than entertaining though, she almost got into several fights with both men and women !!!!!!!
It was nonetheless a truly memorable experience and I cannot wait for Friday's Jones Beach show. Everyone who has tix's to the future shows will not be disappointed and definitely have something to look forward to.
